@koops3: You haven't played many party games then. Party games are usually horrible, and many people think the new Rabbids party games are horrible. Personally, I though TV Party was pretty bad and felt it was rushed over just to make money from the holiday season.
So... looks like Ubisoft hasn't learned their lesson yet. Party games never sell. (You'd think they would learn from Imagine: Party Babys...)
@metakirbyknight: Well said. I hate when people think piracy and homebrew is the same thing, because the people that find the exploits to run the games they created didn't want that. They only wanted to make games for their favorite console, not allow some n00b to take that software, use it to run a game launching app, and use the app to run games that were downloaded from the internet illegally. Until I upgraded my Wii to 4.3(by accident...), I enjoyed playing homebrew games, using homebrew software and playing Super Mario War with my friends (good game btw), but I never, ever ran an emulator, a game-launcher, or anything of the sort. Because I have no legally-ripped ROMs to use them with, and downloading them would be illegal, no matter if I physically owned the game. I feel that that kind of thing is wrong and hurts game developers, and those developers should also find a way to make an anti-piracy scheme which detects whether the game is being run from a flashcart (in the case of DS) or a harddrive (in the case of Wii) and stop the game from running.
To get rid of piracy, Nintendo should remove a reason to hack the system (like Sony did with PS3's "Other OS") by making the online store like Apple's App Store by reducing the price and removing the ownership restrictions of the SDK and allowing people to make free games/apps. That way, almost anybody could make a game/app as long as they could buy the SDK and there would be no reason to hack the system to launch homebrew. And if the system isn't hacked, pirates (most of whom wait for a non-pirate to hack the system) won't be able to launch pirated games.
Hopefully Ninty will use the time to move that analogue pad/D-Pad, create a system to transfer DSiWare, and add an extra camera to the front for 3D video chat.
I thought the same as Klapaucius and jenisnape, but since I did read the article, I now know exactly what to do with my last 500 points! As soon as this comes to North America! Yeah!
Hi! This e-mail is to confirm that we have received your e-mail for a free WiiWare(tm) copy of Groovin' Blocks! Watch your Wii console for a request so we may send you your copy.
Thank you for your interest!
Matt and Francois
And, that's pretty much it. I guess they got the power to allow some people to download they're game for free and to send Wii Mail to people without them needing their friend code.
I have Platinum Status My brother is going to sign up for Club Nintendo soon, hopefully I can urge him to ear all of his coins before the end of the week, where he would get gold status.
OMG!!! I can't believe Nintendo is letting Sega/High Voltage do this. Let's cross our fingers that Nintendo's next console gets an XBox Live-ish online mode!
@Rhansley64: iPhones can connect to other users via Blue-tooth or through Wi-Fi or a Cellular Network (2G or 3G). The game could use any of these methods for multiplayer.
OMGSOSEXY !!!!!! LOL I may have never seen Tron before, but this Wiimote looks like the coolest thing ever. Putting down 10 extra dollars for a cooler glowing Wiimote may be appealing to some.... if they hadn't bought all his/her wiimotes yet .
Awesome! An official way to put cartridge games on system memory... this rumor better be true! Because along with that we'll probably get more memory too!
I don't like the way the characters look. Making them taller and leaner makes the game look more realistic, and that's not what the series is aiming for (anyone who says other will have to face the fact that you can't socialize and live next door to a panda bear in real life).
@Kimiko: That circle on the bottom is the headphone port. I think the front-facing camera is that little circle on the top of the screen. If it stays there, they better switch where the picture shows from the bottom screen to the top, or it will be hard to see yourself on camera with your eyes facing the viewer of the picture.
YES!! Everything I thought it would do came through: 3D Movies, 3D Picture Taking, Motion Sensing.... now I can't wait for the 3DS! Hopefully there is a way to transfer DSiWare as if that's real I will definitely get this!
I agree with everybody here. It seems much better to be playing these games on paper, at least DSiWare would be good. And I get that there are different variations, but with a game there are still limits to what kind of ways you can play, where with paper the possibilities are endless. You can even make your own ways to play if you wanted to. Heck, you would probably get the same enjoyment by using myNotebook to play these games.
Aw, too bad I already have a myNotebook. Hopefully there is an upgrade to a three already-existing myNotebooks. Then again, the color names make it sound like they are a different kind of thing...
Sounds impossible. There's a reason the Wii is a tiny little box while the 360 and PS3 could fit about 6 Wiis each inside (Probably 3-4 for the PS3Slim), that is, the consoles have so much power packed in that they have to be pretty large. As technology advances, though, once-big machines can become very small (In fact, Sony proves that by making a "slim" model later in all of their consoles' lifespans), so if this rumor is true, I would very much like it.
Well, at least Activision isn't trying to milk GH anymore like they did last year by pushing out 5 games (6 games if you count DJ Hero). I wouldn't be surprised to hear poor sales of this game, despite it's new story mode (All of my GH-Owning friends still don't have GH5, settling for World Tour instead.)
Who wouldn't get this game for free. One of the many mottoes I live buy is "The best things in life are free." So take it while you can, fellow Americans!

@Warioswoods: I was thinking the same thing. How will 3D video chat be possible with only one camera? Hopefully this gets updated in the future.
Re: Glory Be! Pachter Actually Has Something Nice to Say About 3DS
Can't wait to see the 3DS in action. It sounds SO GOOD...
Re: Iwata: 3DS Games May Cost as Much as Wii Titles
Hopefully this doesn't affect retail pricing. I'm not sure I'd want to pay $50 for a portable game.
Re: DSiWare Will Not Be Transferable Unless Nintendo Makes Changes
Ugh, bad news.
This would be the only thing stopping me from buying a 3DS.
C'mon, Nintendo, you gotta make that change! Your profits depend on it!
Re: The 3DS Might Make it in Time for Christmas Shopping Lists
So, if this is true, then if I want a 3DS, I'm gonna either have to preorder it or camp outside Best Buy until I get one...
I guess I'll preorder then.

Re: E3 2010: Reader Questions - Day Two
@KrazyKain: Ask your question here. I don't think Corbie is answering questions from the comments.
It feels good having my question answered, considering how hard it is to get questions answered by Cris Slate from Nintendo Power or by Strong Bad.
Oh, and I'm really looking forward to Paper Mario 3DS too!

Awesome lineup! I really, really want that new Paper Mario. As long as it's not like Super Paper Mario and it's a real RPG, I will definitely buy it!

Okay maybe not, but that would be awesome! And if you use that, Retro, I want credit!
