Re: Review: Rytmik (DSiWare)

I was going to download this immediately after it hits NA until I saw the price. I only have 500 points left, and I'm sure I don't want to spend 800 points on this anyway. I would have gone for 200 or even 500, but I don't feel like I should get this. I am very musically inclined; I play trumpet in my school band and own almost every Wii Guitar Hero Game (missing Smash Hits), but I'm a little hesitant with this. Besides, according to how I usually treat DIY stuff, I usually play around with it for a while, then forget about it or watch other people use it (as in Flipnote Hatena).

Re: Miyamoto: Nintendo May Need to Rethink its Online Approach

ToastyYogurt

NO!! Paying for online is not my thing... which is why I'm currently leaning toward a PS3 rather than a 360 in my battle for another console. If we do eventually have to pay, give the ability to chat to people through any game and give us patching. Also, the most wanted request for Online Wii has to be get rid of the friend codes and have a username that stays the same for every game. Or at least when we register a friend code, make it consistent across every game so we don't have to register the same person a ton of times for every game we have! Jeeze.

Re: E3 Promises Over 30 Nintendo Titles

ToastyYogurt

I was just scrolling the list, saw "Rock Band 3" and nearly jumped for joy! I'll buy it only if it has a ton of improvements over the last one. (Rock Band Network on the Wii, anyone?)

Other than that, I'm pretty sure Nintendo's going to give out news on the new Zelda game (including the real title) and I think Mario Galaxy 2 will have a demo there. The most awesome thing that could happen at E3 this year would have to be if Nintendo unveiled the 3DS.

Re: Black Wii Could Hit North America in May

ToastyYogurt

@Tri4ceHolder: No, you can't. VC and WiiWare Games are coded so that only the Wii that you bought the game from would be able to play the game. This is meant to stop piracy. And I'm so glad I'm not racist. LOL

This seems good for people in the NA who want a Wii but are too hesitant because of the white finish. If they had these three years ago when I got a Wii, I would've got the black one.

Re: Review: AiRace (DSiWare)

ToastyYogurt

@Linkgamer: What do you mean that it "works with AiRace Tunnel"? Do you mean that it's included in the game, that your data from tunnel gets transferred to this game or that you can (somehow) play with people that have only AiRace tunnel?

I liked Tunnel and thought it was pretty fun, but I don't think I'll get this one because the only multiplayer it has is with people that own the game, and I only know 3 other DSi owners, all of which might not get this game.

Re: Black and White are the Next Gen of Pokemon Games

ToastyYogurt

@Swiket: It's just the fact that with the latest names having "rich" colors after the original generation, (gold, silver, crystal, ruby, sapphire, diamond, pearl, platinum) it feels like Nintendo got lazy and just named the new games on the two most basic "colors" ever. At least name them using real colors. How about pink and orange, Nintendo?

Re: Black and White are the Next Gen of Pokemon Games

What?! A new generation already?! They are breaking the trend here. The next generation needs to launch on the next gen console (which would be the 3DS). Nintendo should wait 'till they at least announce the 3DS in a conference or something. And speaking of waiting.... why so soon? April 15 is only 6 days away, and not only that, but Heartgold and Soulsilver were released in Japan only 7 months ago. They should at least wait a year or two before coming out with a new game, let alone a whole new generation.

I dunno why I care, considering I'm done with Pokemon, but I just want my word out.

P.S. These names are probably the worst ones ever.

Re: 3DS to Employ Parallax Barrier Technology?

ToastyYogurt

Nice. When I first heard about the 3DS I denied the news, thinking something like it couldn't possibly happen, and the fact that it wasn't announced at a press conference seemed proof enough that this was a rumor. But with all this news and everything, it seems I might be wrong. I'm still a bit suspicious, though .

Re: Nintendo Beaten to the Punch on Wii Football Controller

ToastyYogurt

Uh, don't you need a nunchuck to play football games? And if you just use the Wiimote DPad, it would be hard to move and go through the motions at the same time. In Wii Play's "Tanks!", I always go for using the nuchuck rather than the Wiimote to move because it's hard to point with something and push a button in different directions, especially when you have to point the thing in different places.

@lanafire: Wow, I didn't realize that the first time I watched this thing, but when you pointed it out I went back to that part and realized it DID sound like something for Bill and Ted's. PARTY ON, DUDES!
