3rd parties don't even have to use the controller with the screen. I couldn't care less if they do or not. I will most likely be using the Wii remotes and Nunchuck for playing a lot of games, nothing beats pointing and shooting with the Wii remote, I wouldn't want to go back to moving the crosshairs with a joystick.

Amazon had Sept 25th as the date for USA but never got it... seems like Boulder Dash games are so hard to find in the USA, it will end up being like 1 shop that carries it and only for a short time. No idea why they are so poorly distributed here....

They aren't protesting Nintendo, they are just using the game to get the word out about animal cruelty. They actually put some work into this, wow, trading cards and all.... lol

It's also a lot more violent than Pokemon, wow, hitting Pikachu with a bloody meat cleaver

All the crap that people have said about the Wii and all it's shovelware gave it a bad reputation but somehow the iPad doesn't get hurt by all the bad games.

I have an iPad and anyone who watches the daily releases (I use the app shopper app) can tell you that literally 99% of the games released every day (which are dozens) are total crap. I'd say that at least 90% of games on Nintendo systems are quality games.

I even like the N64 Castlevania games but this one just looks bad, it will be the first Castlevania game I won't buy.

I'm not totally convinced.. what is their target framerate? they dont't mention that, it could be 20 fps...

@Cipher - I don't see the region being a reason... It's easy enough to just buy the game on the internet. I own plenty of DS games from other regions.

I admit that I used one on DS in the past but only as a way to try games before I bought them, it not only saved me from wasting money on bad games but it sold me on a lot of games that I otherwise never would have purchased because I didn't think they would be good.

We haven't all done it, only people that don't realize that moisture on the contacts is a bad idea...

That idea is horrible. I think they are just getting tired of the crap that makes up 99% of mobile games. They need to just play games on a real system and not a cell phone!

That sucks. It's coming to PC also, I'll get it there.

OMG, I'm already hearing reports that the new Sonic Racing for Wii U has a bad framerate, that's why I didn't like the Wii version...

Forget gamestop! they won't do a midnight launch, when New Super Mario Bros 2 came out they told me that kids won't be up at midnight so they don't stay open for Nintendo stuff... idiots...

This has been on the Wii for 2 years now, it was named Remington Super Slam Hunting: Africa and it's made by Mastiff (not Teyon). There is also a North America and Alaska game. I hope they get ported as well.

I think people shouldn't be hung up on "generation", it's a new console, who cares what the specs are, it's a new experience!

Don't believe that. It will never happen. They said the Wii would support external hard drives as well but it never happened.

The Charging Station Pro looks horrible

It's nice to hear from a developer that isn't hung up on specs. I don't mind that Nintendo isn't cramming $600 worth of hardware into the Wii U. I'm sure it will be stable and not have overheating issues.

Your missing the point... I would never shoot any real animal, but Outdoors Unleashed is a video game! you are taking things too seriously. You are afraid to hurt a chicken in Zelda?

In real life, I would also not eat a giant mushroom that made me grow larger or eat a plant that makes me shoot fireballs from my body. I would also not run through mazes eating pellets and consuming ghosts whem they turn blue! isn't that like eating a soul? omg! that should be banned also!

People need to realize the difference between games and real life. I downloaded Outdoors Unleashed and it's a great game.

This really does suck, the other magazines are full of crap (ads) and focused on the hyped up Xbox and PS3 titles, Nintendo games will never get good coverage in a magazine anymore...

@Cyrso - it's all about power??? that's sad. So it doesn't matter if a game sucks, you only want it to look pretty? try going outside, it looks great to me, and it's in 3D!

@Samholy - unfornately many of those games, Skyrim for example I'd would never even think about playing on an Xbox or PS3, they control so much better on a PC and Skyrim looks much better and has no loading times like it does on 360 every time you enter or exit a building.

I have a good PC, a Wii and a 3DS. I can play all the Nintendo games and all the others... like Skyrim, Call of Duty, etc... I can play on my PC, I have absolutely no need for an outdated 360 or PS3.

Oh... and motion controls rock!

I disagree... the Wii had a ton of third party support, don't judge it just by some of the larger 360 and PS3 games, the Wii had PLENTY of games from third party companies that are not available on the other consoles.

I suspect that it's more powerful than they realize because they have had years to learn how to program for PS3 and 360, I'm sure they still have things to learn about the Wii U.

...and Nintendo had just reached HD, that's fine with me and I bet the Wii U won't overheat.

They used it as an excuse to make the 3DS library look better and then spend 2 years delaying it... it wouldn't surprise me if it never came out...

Sure... and 20 years ago Nintendo should have hooked up with Sega and Neo Geo, who survived that one?

If this happened today we would have an overpriced system that overheats, plays blu-ray movies and a remote with a funny looking colored ball at the end, no thanks
