Re: Review: Spelunker Party! (Switch eShop)

SteveW

Not a fair review, I have the feeling the reviewer didn’t play it much. No item requires more than one player to unlock. If you are talking about the switches inside he caves all you need is a certain pet to press them for you, not a second player. That pet is in world one, pretty easy to find, it’s shown right on the map.

The graphics are better and better as you go, world 4 with the volcanos looks amazing! This game is easily a 9 out of 10 (at least).

Sorry that a lot of people will pass up an amazing game because of mediocre scores.

@Quorthon
Show me one quote where Nintendo says they consider the Gamecube a failure. Sounds like you are the one inventing things.

Who cares if the Gamecube only had 8% of the market, profits do not revolve completely around market share, it's more complex than that. Selling 22 million pieces of any product and MAKING MONEY on each unit is a success. Thanks for reminding me why I stay away from message boards...

@Quorthon
Nintendo doesn't consider the Gamecube a failure, it was the only console that generation that made a profit and it was a huge profit. Microsoft lost over 4 billion on Xbox and Sony lost as well. Gamecube was a huge financial success. Do some research and quit assuming that just because Gamecube sold less consoles that Nintendo lost money, Nintendo made a ton.

The Gamecube forced Nintendo to take desperation actions with the Wii? it's called innovation... and it didn't take long for others to try to copy them.

Does the camera really continuously rotate around the board as you are trying to play? looks so annoying...

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto "Wanted to go to HD Sooner" With the Wii

SteveW

I'd rather have a Wii as is vs an underpowered system trying to produce HD with horrible framerates. (sort of like the underpowered N64 doing 3D graphics, most games have poor framerates or just look really bad).

If they would have made system powerful enough to go HD it would have almost doubled the price and the Wii would not have been as successful.

There was mention last Thursday of being able to save levels in it... "which includes the option to save your creations on the VC "... is this a new feature or does that just refer to the save states that all VC has?
