On Xbox:

• Avowed. Finally was able to start this up last night. Only played an hour so not sure where I stand just yet. The combat takes some getting used to though. I had to change to 3rd person for a better view of the world.
• Wwe 2k24 still. My son and I play a few matches every day. After seeing footage and rosters of 25, I don't feel the need buy 25 yet.

On Switch:

• Mario Wonder. Mostly for Mario day I'm playing through before xcx. If I have time I'll probably play a smaller Mario title like 3d land or nsmb 2.
• SK:Specter of Tormet i needed some comfort food gaming coming off DQ3 which I did not like, this is is getting me back on track.
• DK 94, might do a little dabbling in this too.

🤷‍♂️ I'm happy with the direction of the country.

I'll probably just play on gamepass then.

Alone in the Dark I'm nearly done with the 4th chapter and next chapter is the final. I think I'm going to power through and try to finish tonight/ tomorrow.

On switch- DQIII HD2D to be honest, I'm not enjoying this one anymore. I'm just trying to roll credits since I've invested so much time. I've turned down the difficulty to easy to avoid any severe grinding. I think I'm in the final 5 or so hours of this one too, and I can't wait to be able to move on.

@Ralizah I was merely joking tbh. This reminds me of how I felt about Bayonetta 3 though. The longer I waited the less excited I was for it.

Pre-ordered and ready to jump in. Xenoblade has become a top tier franchise for me this generation. I never got around to playing X yet even though I owned it on wii u. Very excited to dive into another monstrous monolith game.

@WolfyTn was underground the one where you can drive cars and climb buildings? I think I still have that on GameCube. Or was it American wasteland? I get confused between the two.

Like I said previously, it kinda sucks but it just means we're on to something new which is really exciting. I'm sure nintendo has something cooked up in it's place.

I mean..yea it kinda sucks. But if anything, this is super exciting. It means we're on the verge of something new and it's starting to feel real now. Bring on April 2.

Yea, I would've been happier with VC. It's wierd but I barely play NSO outside of some whacky release just to check it out, or just the classic mario + zelda titles. I dedicate my time to games that I buy, and not what I rent. I'm wierd like that.

@Li_Bae interesting. I've heard great things about that game as well. I think I just need to take a break from JRPGS. Especially traditional ones.. I am however looking forward to getting my hands on XCX as I've loved every xenoblade game.

If I'm being honest, the more I play this one the less I'm liking it. I'm at what I would call the midway point after looking at a guide. So about 16hrs in, mid 20s for levels.

The novelty and beauty sort of wore off for me. What hooked me right away was playing a beautiful looking old school jrpg. It just got a bit stale though. Should've seen it coming, it's whats expected from a 30 yr old famicom game. Still trying to decide if I want to finish it or move onto something else before XCX comes out.
