@JohnnyC Been there, done that...I mean as a victim. Financial losses can be recovered through the bank. Admittedly, it is annoying not much of a problem unless somebody is stupid enough to let it happen too long. Though, I imagine recovering losses could be much more difficult in certain countries.
I am aware Sony got hacked in 2011 and they did poor job communicating with customers about it all. The waited too long to address the compromised information which resulted lawsuits. In addition, the compromised info was reported not encrypted aside from credit cards. Also, I never said I was rooting entirely for the competition. I am a fan of Sony and Nintendo, otherwise I would not have an account on Nintendo Life, or own several Sony and Nintendo products. I am just saying Nintendo needs to do is let customers know they are working behind the scenes to improve their security as well recommending security measure which the latter was the least they done. I get it, hackers happen and no online security is absolute but I am criticizing Nintendo for not looking into improving their security.
You are probably right. I am reading reports of online hacking to other online services. However, I still stand by my comment. Nintendo and other online services need to step up and assure customers that they doing what they can to secure user information. Nintendo did not make such a comment.
If publishers and developers would like to keep their business moving, they should release their products in all territories when & wherever possible. To wait for CERO to reopen would not make any business sense.
TellTale Games was relaunched under LCG Entertainment, Inc. Unfortunately, select titles are not available to purchase such as Tales From The Borderlands and Back to the Future. I am certain 2K Games will bring back Tales From The Borderlands eventually but not so certain about the rest of back catalog of game.
I would say a slight miss...it has good ideas that should of been fleshed out more, only three levels...that's it. Animations are limited as if Wayforward was on a tight budget with time constraints though I am not confirming that was the case, that just how the game looks like to me. I do however like the humorous banter between character, looks like the effort went to most of the writing and voice acting. I would actually recommend this game but for only $2.99 at most, $7.99 is too high.
Just watched it though I knew of its existance for a while now. Cute movie, but nothing ground breaking. I would really only suggest it to Animal Crossing fans.
I will not be picking it up the Switch. Actually, I won't be playing Doom Eternal for awhile. I still need to finish the previous Doom, as I barely played it. When the time comes, I will buy Doom Eternal on PC for that high performance. I do however appreciate Panic Button's effort to bring such demanding games onto inferior platforms.
I remember playing Alien Hominid on my internet browser way back. I enjoyed it so much, I got hyped up when I discovered they released a console version on PS2. Of course, I also bought the HD release on XBox Live Arcade as well. With most games releasing digitally these days, I am surprised that Alien Hominid HD has not seen a release on Steam and PSN. It is good to know The Behemoth has not abandoned the IP...though I am still hoping for a re-release of the HD version of the original game on Switch, perhaps bundle it with Invasion.
Nintendo has supported Smash Tournaments by hosting their own. Nintendo World Championships, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Invitational, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 3v3 just to name a few. HungryBox even competed against Reggie in the Nintendo World Championships. Yeah, so shut up HungryBox.
I know you are only joking but it is possible that Build-A-Bear started production on their plush before Sonic got a redesign for the movie so they couldn't go back to fix it. Sometimes in business, they have move forward with what they have with no chance to make changes.
I do find it kind of odd for Build-A-Bear to make a Sonic design from scratch when they already made one for the modern version Sonic and Tails characters in 2016.
Nope. The more valuable Funko Pops are usually only 30 bucks at most. I do buy Funko Pops for shelf display if I see any I like but I don't collect them. I will probably buy this Shantae Pop.
A port could happen in the future since SEGA owns the IP, but Nintendo did pay for exclusivity rights highly likely under contract with SEGA so a port of Bayonetta 2 and 3 are not likely until the contract expires unless the contract is non-expiring which would mean such ports will never happen.
@JR150 Um, that is what EBay Descriptions, Returns and Paypal Disputes are for. You can still find a functioning PS3 with barely any problems as long you're are not stupid. It is not like that the PS3 had very common occurrence of hardware failure like the 360 (i.e. Red Ring of Death)
Also, why would someone buy an RPG they clearly don't have time. Persona 5 takes time to play, so I would argue that if you can play a lengthy RPG, you have free time somewhere in your schedule.
Sure, it would be cool to have Persona 5 on the Swtich but every mainline game in the series has always been exclusive to a Playstation console despite spinoff releases of Persona 4 Arena on the 360 and Persona Q on the 3DS, not to mention guest appearances in Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle. A Switch port of Persona 5 or any mainline game is improbable.
May I remind everyone that Persona 5 is also on Playstation 3, which I hear is an above serviceable port, and the PS3 is dirt cheap these days, for a console anyways. So there is no excuse to not to play Persona 5. As for me, I have a stable job so I will be buying Persona 5 Royal when it is released on PS4, as well as Persona 5 Scramble. I am also hoping for a Persona 5 Arena as well.
Disney does not want to partner up with Nintendo, Disney wants to buy out Nintendo which probably will not happen in a long shot since Nintendo is almost as protective of their business compared to Disney..
Is that why Urban Champion is not available via Nintendo Switch Online, a special edition with a sound effect selection on a mini disc and a two page art book...I am pre-ordering immediately!
Miiverse is not coming back. Nintendo could decide to develop a successor...in fact, they have with their silly phone app but they might come up with something considering how poor their app is receiving with the critics and fans but this is Nintendo we're talking about, a company that generally does not listen to feedback...well, at least they don't until a few years down the line when they finally acknowledge their failures when it is far too late. I am convinced nothing is coming regarding social media.
1. Just because a game runs poorly on PC doesn't mean it won't run better on another platform.
2. Metro Redux runs flawlessly on my PC, probably because I updated my PC over the years with new hardware. You have to install updated hardware to keep up with PC gaming. If your PC cannot play a game as old as Metro Redux, you have outdated tech in your PC.
Nintendo is promoting their game to seek customer interest into buying it. It makes more sense to pick a game that would take more time beyond the promotion.
Nintendo games are real games. They are games for all ages as in adults and children can play them. You are thinking of hardcore games. Also, why are you on a Nintendo forum if you don't like Nintendo games?
Depends on the game, and what features you want use. Of course you want to use the latest patch for online gaming. With most single player games can still be played without patches, although some games are released either incomplete or have more free content after release such as Kirby: Star Allies. Some people may also prefer to go physical to save space on their SD Micros, and collector like to keep games on display on their shelf. Digital or physical, it is your own call what you want to go with. One thing for sure, with every game released today, there will be a patch for it.
Gyro & motion controls is nice and all, but performance comes first in my mind. I am not insterested in subpar port. They already got me with Revelations 2 which has absolute garbage performance on the Switch.
Atooie just shot themselves in the foot with this update. The already announced a September Q&A update but nothing became of that with not even a mention of cancellation or delay on their Kickstarter. Yes, it was fair for backers to expect at least a September update.
@EmmatheBest A life bar was the least of Rogue Corps' problem, if at all. A three or four hit life bar would help the series reach a wider audience, that is if SNK intends to make a more conventional Metal Slug game instead of the 3D Contra slop Konami rushed out.
