I did notice this on day one. The battery lasts a noticeable amount less than the Switch OLED.

Not a chance am I paying $70 for this.

I backed this game FOREVER ago. So happy to see it finally releasing this year.

@PikminMarioKirby Totally agree. I'm not willing to spend $70 on a game that looks like it could run on a GameCube, a Wii if I'm feeling generous.

Not a big fan of the grey on the Japanese box art. There isn't enough contrast between the pink and grey.

I absolutely plan on picking this up once it goes on sale.

I work as a graphic designer, and I can honestly say that only needing a month to create a logo this timeless and iconic is insane. We've had clients who took several months to land on a logo they like. Hats off to their design team.

I really don't see why they couldn't have made an L button that was identical to the R button. I don't think anyone would have been mad about that.

I'm planning on picking up The Hundred Line, but I'm going to wait for a sale. With today's economy, I can't hardly ever buy games at full price.

For the love of all that is good, PLEASE being Star Fox Assault to NSO. That multiplayer was incredible. If that had online support, that would be reason alone to keep me forever subscribed to NSO.

I was torn between U.S. and Japan, but I love how open the Japan box art looks and feels. I love the subtle nod of them being on a board.

I'm sorry, but these statements like "Nintendo isn't innovative enough" drive me up the wall. Like, are you serious? Nintendo is bridging the gap between console and PC gaming with mouse controls. They did gyro first, HD rumble first, mainline hybrid consoles first. The list goes on and on. In terms of innovative, Nintendo is MILES ahead of their competition. What did Sony and Xbox bring this generation? Better lighting and faster load times, and bunch of soulless sequels and live-service games? These kind of statements make me so mad. 😮‍💨 I'll get off my soap box.

I really do want to play this game, but spending full price on a game is a lot these days.

@Khwarezm89 I'm still working through how much to add, but for my Nintendo Account, I have a credit card that gives me cash back on every purchase. One of the cash back options is to turn my points into Nintendo digital gift cards. That's what I've started doing.

I've started adding funds to my Nintendo and Steam accounts, and not spending more than I've allotted myself. It's helped me to really prioritize the purchase I actually want to make.

Oh gosh, the Japanese cover is terrible. The only imagery on the case is a shot of a dude's butt. Who the heck green-lit this?

Buying a Switch 2 was an absolute cluster**** s***show of an experience. Thank goodness we only go through this living hell once every 8 years. 😮‍💨

That launch was a horrendous. I was trying for 2 hours before everything sold out. I successfully ordered one from Target, but then immediately got a cancelation email from them. I kept trying at multiple retailers, but I didn't get one. :/

I don't really care about the triggers. For me, if they didn't fix that d-pad, then this thing ain't worth a dime.

That d-pad looks exactly the same. HARD pass if they didn't fix it.

I would love to ask the community, how story-driven is this game, specifically the Switch version? I've never play a Xenoblade game before, and I have a difficult time committing to a game this long if the story doesn't carry the experience. Would this be a good place to hop into the series?

I would have bought this without hesitation a few years ago, but I'm holding on buying anything for my Switch until the Direct and we know more about the Switch 2.

Z-A's battle mechanics look a lot like Ni No Kuni's battle mechanics... which is a game that came out 15 years ago. Like, I'm glad Pokémon is trying something new, but I have a hard time getting excited about a game that looks and plays like a game from literally 15 years ago.

This is so odd, but I, out if the blue, had a dream last night about the direct. They announced Toon Link as a character in the new Mario Kart, which was then a segue into announcing Wind Waker coming to Switch 2. I guess my subconscious is more excited about this than I thought. Hahaha!!!
