Lots of potential in the game, I’ve enjoyed it when it’s worked BUT there are big problems here. Not just bugs but it’s as if this game wasn’t ever play tested at all by anyone, things don’t thread together in the story. You can get stuck easily at certain points one just not having enough money to buy a key item, with no way to farm more. The tennis section makes no sense where is the tour? Where do you play the lumberjack? I’m actually really annoyed that the developers put it out in this state, it’s not acceptable. Golf Story is an indie masterpiece, this could have been that but it’s a total mess.

Just locked me out at the title screen now, guess I’ll have to wait for a patch. Damn this sucks, did they not playtest it in development? Unfinished games are becoming far too commonplace in the industry, even indie games!

This game is ok I agree more sporting action would be good, this is an rpg mostly but it’s unique in that way. The bugs etc aren’t great, the studio took years to make this and it’s not exactly a graphically challenging game, so I don’t really understand it. Wish they had stuck to the golf really, tennis is not very good to play in the game not got to the other sports yet.

Anyone else underwhelmed by this trailer? Celeste is a masterpiece so will see how it develops but this looks pretty standard.

Aren’t the Hitman guys doing a new James Bond game? I imagine he is there to announce a world premier trailer of that game.

@VoidofLight half baked games and updates are the state of the industry, god knows how many hours a ps4 or Xbox takes to update everytime they are turned on after a couple of weeks. Hardly a Switch problem is it.

This has been the best generation for first party exclusives since the N64 imo (maybe even beats that) and that alone makes this console well worth buying. Not to mention you can play all the games in handheld.

Looks like utter tosh to me this film but each to their own! I’m sure kids will enjoy it, just think they missed a trick engaging adults from what I’ve seen in the trailer. Not sure why Miyamoto has been working so much on this, waste of good game development talent imo.

@mcdreamer based on what? Most gamers in UK buy PlayStation and Xbox and play Cod or FIFA. Every year they buy the new game full price over and over again. What could be less brainless than that?

These reports make me laugh, what use are they? This will make a random figure literally plucked out of the air. Would love to see how this does on Dragon’s Den, get laughed out of the studio!

Extremely disappointing. Pretty much just killed my interest in the show, season 3 can be treated as a final season for me!

@Stocksy yes it’s amazing more games did not adopt to difficultly levels with different objectives, it was genius and made the single player so replayable. Beating the game on 007 is some achievement one I could only ever dream of!

Fair play to Nintendo, Microsoft and studios etc sorting this all out. I bet it wasn’t easy but companies doing the right thing.

This game is a stone cold classic, even the barely mentioned single player is amazing!

Cannot wait to play this hopefully with proper camera controls, it made all the difference in Xbox version of Perfect Dark, which holds up as an amazing game because of that.

Not streaming in the UK? This is over the top. I loved the queen but I don’t think she would have cared less about Nintendo having a direct nearly a week after her death!

Missed opportunity to use more of the Cuphead style graphics, after all early Mickey Mouse is the type of cartoon that art style was based on.

That said game looks great!

Horizon Turbo chase is probably my favourite racing game on switch. Wish Mario Kart had a single player mode as good as this!

No don’t worry Nintendo, carry on as you are, stuff like this doesn’t matter. Who you really need to keep pursuing are people making fan games of games you don’t make anymore!

I’m never convinced this game even needs to defend itself, it’s a quality game and from what I see most can see that.

Probably the best strategy rpgs ever made and they have become politicised. Such a shame for those who are missing out on these stone cold classics. Can’t help feeling the later in the generation these games release the less attention and sales they will get, as tends to happen when a new gen is on the horizon.

@Truegamer79 you are spot on seems like a lot of bandwagon jumping here. I enjoyed the games and didn’t have any errors when playing.

This is an absolute joke, it’s a game we have played for 25 years and nobody complained. Same with advance wars, it makes no difference to anything regarding a war in Ukraine, none whatsoever, just release these games!

Sonic origins and mania, shovel knight any quality 2d platformer to be honest!

Beggars belief that they have not made a sequel to mania really, playing origins is great and reminds me how great 2d sonic can be. Just make more of those Sega!
