Re: Review: TY The Tasmanian Tiger 4: Bush Rescue Returns - Aussie Platforming Legend Takes A 2D Turn

@Not_Soos To be honest, I feel like the comments are usually kind of negative on Ty related articles on this website. I actually have started to play it, and I think it's alright. I haven't played to much, though. I also agree with "one gripe is that there's no hub area." I wish it was open world in the sense that there was a hub world. (I guess it doesn't really matter if you don't travel to certain locations like in Ty 2 and 3, but I wish there was a hub world) The 2nd and 3rd ones had a hub world, even on GBA (I think). Plus, you go to the menu every time you finish a certain amount of the game. But, I'm liking what I've been playing at least as of this point.
Actually, I guess the menu acts sort of as the hub, but I wish you could explore it.

Re: Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Dev Is "Not Worried" About Game's Initial Sales

arnoldfranklin

Well, That's good to hear, but sometimes it matters what Ubisoft thinks. We hope the Rayman DLC does well, because David Soliani has tweeted that if it would sell well, there's a greater chance to have a "follow up." Read here (I'm talking about Rayman)
Anyways, something unfortunate is that in the UK charts you guys post on here, I feel like Kingdom Battle shows up but not Sparks of Hope. This is like the charts with not just 10 places. I'm sure Sparks of Hope will sell better eventually, though, like they said.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Ubisoft's Metroidvania "Inspired" Prince Of Persia Platformer?

So, I haven't played any of the games, but I'm kind of glad that this series could come back, with a new game. I know they're doing the remake or whatever of Sands of Time, but at least there's a new game. Now, I do hope this series doesn't become a 2D series kind of like how Rayman became one. Maybe people don't like how the game looks. I'm not really a fan of the series in the first place, so who knows if it's good or not. But, hopefully it's good for the fans and stuff because it's a pain to wait for new games in a series lol for some people, at least.

Re: Nintendo Minute Videos Are Being Set To Private On Nintendo's YouTube Channel

arnoldfranklin

I don't like this idea. They had to do these videos and I know that people liked them, even though I wasn't what you would call a fan. It brings views in to the channel. It advertises the games you could say etc. It might be a licensing issue. I haven't looked too into the article so sorry if I missed something. Actually after hearing what @romanista said, I guess they might just be deleting stuff.

Re: Crikey! TY The Tasmanian Tiger 4 Is Getting A Nintendo Switch Release

arnoldfranklin

This is the thing we Ty fans have been waiting for this whole year pretty much, even though they didn't announce exactly what it is. Why does everyone have to bash Ty? Also, Ty 4 made its debut in 2013 on Windows store or something like that and was later rereleased on Steam in 2015, that being the first time it was actually called Ty 4.

Re: Ubisoft Will Now Close Online Services For Three Wii U Titles In October

arnoldfranklin

@EarthboundBenjy Actually, there aren't the challenges, themselves but they do have the same or similar gameplay with limits, this time. (Well, some had limits online with how long it took to reach the end and there were challenges where you had to get a certain amount of lums but those would probably end eventually because you're gonna have to get lums.)No never ending things, but they do have the different gameplay modes in some form.

Also, the game has online leaderboards and has challenges with leaderboards on invaded levels.

Re: Ty The Tasmanian Tiger Studio Teases A New Switch Project

arnoldfranklin

In the newsletter, they also teased a new Ty project of some sorts.
"A totally new TY the Tasmanian Tiger game would be great, but we'd need at least 10x all stats to date. However, we do tinker with totally new bits. (see the February video, see the Doomeranger comics)"

For 2022, we're confident we can get another TY the Tasmanian Tiger game out for Nintendo Switch while we continue to tangle with other commitments and occasional challenges. What is it?! We're not ready to tell yet. No, it's not TY3.

Will we do a Kickstarter for it? Yeah-naw, we don't think we'll be doing a Kickstarter for it. (We'd really quite prefer to complete our commitments to the TY2HD Kickstarter backers first, you know?)"
