Brilliant - what a fantastic soundtrack this game has. City Folk should have followed this soundtrack instead of Wild World's.

@L_Brown - I was just about to post something similar to what you stated. Seriously @James? It's not a question of being forced into anything, but just as L_Brown pointed out, there's a solid example of how this situation could be handled - and Nintendo's got the perfect medium to link the Wii and 3DS (Club NIntendo).

It's tough to be a Nintendo fan sometimes, because situations like this really are irksome.

If I buy someone else's 3DS with Ambassador Certificate, and copy it over to mine, anyone know how this affects Club Nintendo or Shop Settings? Can I change all that back to my info after the fact?

Look to Metroid Other M if you need a good example of why this is a bad idea.

Mobile ports are something I'll never purchase on the DSi. This game is even on sale on iTunes right now for $0.99, and the sequel is $1.99. I feel bad for the people who are paying $8 for it.

Agree 100%. People should not download this expecting a real Final Fantasy experience. It's not a terrible game, but it's not challenging at all.

Angry Birds really is a great title - I strongly recommend giving it a shot.

Michael Turner was one heck of a talented artist. Shame he had to go so young.

One of the best games on the DS, as well as one of the best games to come out this generation. Definitely an amazing title. Great gameplay, and an incredible soundtrack.

I'm sure it's a great title and all, but the price makes it completely undesirable.

I am being consistently floored with all this 3DS info.

Out with the old, in with the new! I'm not saddened in the slightest that the current DS lineup was mediocre, especially when I see the 3DS lineup.

I'm not sure why people are surprised that it could be more powerful than the Wii. The Wii has some pretty games, but graphically... it's not that spectacular.

It's coming - once the 3DS gets some more details, the prices of the various DS systems will drop.

Pass. A free game isn't going to make DSiWare as a whole any better.

I just picked up a Touch, so I'll probably give Flight Control a look-see now (and at a fair price).

I doubt DSiWare will be transferable - I'm betting the DSi games they are talking about are the one or two cartridge releases. I guess we can assume that the 3DS will have cameras too?

I don't think it would be as big of a deal to people if Nintendo didn't require you to buy points by the 1000. For some people, it's not about $10 to $12, it's about $10 to $20, regardless of the fact that the other 800 points can be spent on another game.

For me personally, I'll likely pick this up at some point, but not immediately. I was excited about it a year or so ago, but now not as much.

I hope NA isn't too far behind with Rondo... I put points on the Wii within days after the ESRB that are exclusively for Rondo.

This is one of the best games on the DS, and easily the best DS game of 2009 (NA) in my opinion.

Bring it on I say, I'm ready for the next DS. No more minor upgrades to the DS(i) - give me the real deal!

Good luck with that Netflix. I hope they do see some success from it, but I wouldn't put money on it.
