Re: Nintendo: "Physical Games Are Still A Key Part Of Our Business"

RaZieLDaNtE

Hello there fellow gamers.
I´ll just post my Pure Xbox and Push Square comment here:

I for one, still purchase physical media, being CDs albums, Blu-Ray movies and, of course, videogames for my Xbox Series X, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
All this news of "physical" games that only have a few megas or game-key cards, instead of having a full game product is bad in so many ways, it´s not even funny.
I have physical media from over 25 to 30 years that work completely fine today. Same as videogames.
Games from PS1, PS2 and PS3 as well as Xbox 360 that I own, all still work without an issue. Even my 3DS and PS Vita cartrige games work as well. And again, I actualy OWN the physical copies of all my games.
I do not think digital media is bad by any means.
But I am not purchasing a "physical" media product that does not have the actual product on them. It´s completely unacceptable. As simple as that.
Physical collectors are not a diyng breed. I´m one of them.
Cheers and happy gaming

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (10th May)

RaZieLDaNtE

Hello there fellow gamers;
For this weekend I´ll be playing:

  • Chants of Sennaar, Xbox Series X. What an amazing puzzle game. One of the bests I´ve played, followed by Cocoon;
  • South of Midnight, Xbox Series X. Finally playing this one. Great presentation and ost, with some interesting gameplay mechanics. Not quite feeling the combat though;
  • Ender of Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, PS5. Decided to give it a chance, since a good friend of mine is a big fan of the franchise;
  • Lords of the Fallen, PS5. Been having fun playing co-op with said friend. It got potential, we´ll see how good it gets:
  • Metroid Dread, Switch. Still collecting the final upgrades and getting 100% before the Final Boss. Some of the speed booster puzzles are quite clever. Only two region maps left.
    Lot of good games to enjoy.
    Edit: I finished Chants of Sennaar with all achievements. Cannot recomend this game enough.
    Cheers everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: Talking Point: Which Nintendo Series Are You Most Excited To See Return On Switch 2?

RaZieLDaNtE

Hello there fellow gamers.
The Nintendo series that i would be most excited to return are:

  • Star Fox Adventures. One of my favourite Gamecube games;
  • Luigi´s Mansion. I´m a Luigi fan and I really like this franchise;
  • Astral Chain. Could be very interesting if this could be a series;
  • Fire Emblem. Less Engage, more Awakening;
  • Metroid Dread. More like Metroid 6, but you know, 2D;
  • Paper Mario. Some of the best Mario games out there;
  • Golden Sun. Might have to be a reboot, it´s been a while.
    A few picks just on top of my head. Switch 2 is gonna be great.
    Cheers everyone and happy gaming to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (19th April)

RaZieLDaNtE

Hello there fellow gamers.
This weekend I´ll probably do the following.

  • Continue playing AC Shadows on my Series X. Just enjoying exploring Feudal Japan and sneaking into castles and looting all the goodies;
  • Continue playing Metroid Dread on my Switch. And since I´m at the end game, I´ll just go and find all the last missiles and energy tanks missing. Absolutely love this game;
  • Last but not least, continue playing Black Myth Wukong on my PS5. Not only it´s a beautiful game, but also a very fun and challenging one.
    And some Strret Fighter 6 online, because why not 😜
    Cheers and happy gaming Easter weekend to everyone

Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Confirmed For Switch, Launching September

RaZieLDaNtE

@anoyonmus Hey there friend.
Maybe both Capcom and Bandai Namco didn´t want to outsource their game to another developer because that would mean spending more money.
Although, from the SF6 prize pool, i don´t think Capcom is low on income, at the very least.
I could see WB and Netherrealm showing gameplay at the Playstation Showcase. They have a good relationship.
Just have to wait 7 days to see if it´s true.
Cheers, and happy gaming

Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Confirmed For Switch, Launching September

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
What a year for fighting games it´s turning out to be.
With Street Fighter 6 on June, Mortal Kombat 1 on September and Tekken 8 on the horizon.
Now for a proper gameplay trailer...... Maybe on the Playstation showcase next week orr the Xbox showcase next month or even the Summer Game Fest perhaps??? Hopefuly in one of these three events.
Can´t wait to see more.
Cheers, and happy gaming folks

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 13th)

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers;
This weekend I´ll be playing more of the great (even with tech issues) Jedi Survivor on my PS5. I love how much improved it is from Fallen Order.
I´ll also be playing more Forza Horizon 5 on my Series X. That game is just fun.
Oh, and a little game called The Legend of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom on my Switch. As soon as I started playing, I had the almost exact feeling and tought in my head, that this is going to be a really good game that will last me for months, if not years, just like it was with Breath Of The Wild.
It´s games like the ones that I mention that makes me so glad to be a gamer. I love this medium so much.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Is The Most Frustrated You've Ever Been With A Video Game?

RaZieLDaNtE

@themightyant Hey friend;
Yeah, I was so pissed off that I used my Broken Wings to glide myself into Hell itself, brought the Lengendary Dark Knight Sparda with me to earth, joined forces with is Second Son and with the power of the Fusion dance we became as one.
And that´s my origin story 😜
Jokes asside, I really hope we can actually get some sort of conclusion to one of, if not the best, Vampire Mature Story ever written in any media (altough, Interview with the Vampire movie was also really good).
Cheers, stay safe and all the best

Re: Talking Point: What Is The Most Frustrated You've Ever Been With A Video Game?

RaZieLDaNtE

@themightyant Hi there friend;
"Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver: To be continued...
...that's basically what the game did at the end. Raging"
Man, do I agree with you on that.
One of my all time favourite franchises, one of my favourite videogame stories and one of my personal favourite character.
Why couldn´t they actualy finish that story and leave every fan in limbo? It just grinds my gears.
Hopefully the franchise might actually make a comeback and actualy give us a proper conclusion to the story. Hopefully.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Is The Most Frustrated You've Ever Been With A Video Game?

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers;
Here are a few of my frustrated moments in videogames:

  • Hollow Knight, the White Palace level. My goodness, I still have PTSD from that level. Love the music in it, but those stupid Buzzsaws are EVERYWERE and that´s all you ear;
  • Elden Ring, Malenia Blade of Miquella. Talk about a Boss that was so hyped that made me dread and excited to find and fight.
    But she was, for lack of better word, unfair for the most part.
    She could have been even better than Lady Maria in Bloodborne, if only From had done a better job;
  • Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, the Final Boss. That Boss was to much at the time. I still have no idea how to beat it;
  • Breath of the Wild, equipment durability. As much as I love the game, having 160 plus hours on the main game and dlc, the durability system was and still is, the most anoying thing in the game. I don´t mind weapons breaking because of use, but not knowing WHEN they´ll break is just not fun.
    I could name a few more, but the list would be enormous 😜
    Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all

Re: Can You Match These Links To The Zelda Game They're From?

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers. You scored 15 out of 21. 15-21: Hyper-Link!
That´s not bad, even though I clearly made two mistakes with oracle of Seasons. But still, so many good Legend of Zelda games that I was fortunate to experience and enjoy. My three personal favoutites are: A link between worlds(3DS), Wind Waker(GC) and Breath of the Wild(Switch). Absolutely love those games. still have to get Links awakening remake as the original was my very first Legend of Zelda game on the Game boy Color. Can´t wait for Breath of the Wild 2. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
