It's all about the gameplay. And the gameplay was alright. I didn't get Brain Age 2 because I was worried about my brain; I just wanted that type of game.
@opeter It is SO much better than Lemmings, it's not just a Mario skin. It's a really good spinoff series, M vs DK Miniland Mayhem is the best one out right now and it's a DS game. You should definitely consider buying it, it's also pretty cheap right now because it's been out so long. I think it's like $20 but it has loads of content and you can download thousands of other user-created and Nintendo-created levels for free.
For once, I completely disagree with this review. The sharing aspect was what made the DSi version so great. This is like selling a COD game with just the campaign. I would have given this a 4/10, 5 at best.
I live in the US and I've been trying to get my hands on the New Black XL and a copy of MH4U but nobody has them so I'm stuck waiting. Hopefully GameStop's $100 off New 3DS when you trade in Old 3DS doesn't go away. Anyways, I don't want the regular sized New 3DS, I can't go back now that I've experienced XL. But I feel like either people in NA or EU should feel insulted. Not selling the regular size in NA because it's "too confusing" implies that Nintendo thinks that either Americans are dumb or that they don't care about people in EU getting confused. Either way, it's bs. Nintendo's marketing division needs to be fired and rebuilt because, quite frankly, history shows they don't know what they're doing. They've made countless massive mistakes in the past. Now as for this- if a parent or whoever doesn't know the difference between the handhelds(cough cough Nintendo's marketing is to blame for that), they're not just gonna drool and cry and not buy anything. They'll say "screw it" and buy whatever looks cool(oh yeah, NA also gets fewer colors of systems cough cough bad marketing again) and is the cheapest. Nintendo will still make the sale. And they're all sold out now anyway. It's not like nobody wanted them. GET IT TOGETHER NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to buy the black XL but the GameStop was sold out and will be till next week. Nintendo never stocks the shelves enough. It's like I'm over here begging Nintendo to take my money and they're just picking their noses
This guy is just an ignorant socialist trying to take a jab at America. Capitalism drives innovation- which actually makes life easier and better. That's why the US is the world power and socialist nations like England and communist ones like China will always be weaker, offer less freedom, and be generally less-advanced nations. And you can tell by his accent that he lives in a socialist nation, so he doesn't even know what he's missing.
That show was so bad; the only actual artist there was Lenny Kravitz, who you could only hear for the last 2 seconds out of the five that he performed. The floor tiles were literally more impressive than her- the whole thing looked like an acid trip. It's good to hear that she had at least one ounce of style- or however much a Wii remote strap weighs.
Political correctness is a socialist ideal. All of those stereotypes are based in fact, and obviously not always true. We have freedom of speech, which means that we can say virtually anything and Nintendo meant no offense by this anyway. If you got offended by this, you seriously need to grow up FAST because you will NOT survive in the cruel world with such a thin skin and catty behavior.
I chose "Neither of Them" for every question. I played Majora's Mask on the Wii VC and absolutely hated it. I totally get why people love it and say it's a great game, but it's not for me. I'll stick to OoT and every other Zelda game. I don't think there should be an overarching time limit in any game, much less a Zelda game. I also couldn't care less about Xenoblade. I've watched walkthroughs of it and it's just not my kind of RPG. Not to mention I don't own a Wii U. I'm just waiting for that New XL and MH4U
I too play only snow-themed levels and games around Christmas time. As I grow older, the holidays feel less and less like holidays, but games help me remember the feelings of excitement that I used to have.
"over two million copies each over a space of just five months in Japan" That sounds strangely specific. I mean I get that the games have sold really well but that seems overly qualified, like, "yeah this team scored more goals on overcast Tuesdays and Saturdays than any other team that had yellow socks and black shoes, in their age group."
I would buy this in a heartbeat. Dragon Quest IX is my favorite game of all time and it has great music- not quite as good as Final Fantasy, but still great. I didn't buy Final Fantasy or Curtain Call but I would not pass up a Dragon Quest edition.
I dunno about this game. I love its resemblance to Metroid but I hated Mutant Mudds- mainly the controls, the background/foreground switching, and the character models.
I'm sick of all these mediocre Lego games coming to handhelds. The last good Lego games released on handhelds were Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Ever since then, they've been nothing but shoddy, carelessly-ported messes.
I got OR day 1 and beat it the next day without any problems. The one thing I do hate about X & Y and ORAS is that the battles are so slow. In Black and White, you tap Bag-Hp/Pp Restore-Potion-done! It's instant. You can get through the menus as fast as your finger can move. But in these new games, there's a frustrating pause after each tap. It's like it has to load. It's awful.
Well obviously the Vita is more powerful but which is better depends entirely on the player. It's subjective. I have a white Vita, a red Soul Sacrifice Japanese Vita, and a red 3DS XL. I actually like them all equally, and I have almost all the best games on each system. I mean sometimes I want an HD console experience like Killzone or Borderlands (which BTW there are no more blockbusters coming to Vita). But at the same time, Sony has NOTHING on Mario Kart 7. It all depends on the player.
@VolcanoFlamesNL Tearaway and LBP are both WAY overrated, don't bother with them. Tearaway is painfully short and LBP is drab, at least the Vita version is. Gravity Rush is awesome though it is short, but it's so old now that it's on discount.
I have this game on my Vita and trust me- it's a must buy. I'm was not a huge fan of indies but I got TWA on sale and I love it. The characters, or colored rectangles, have far more personality than most characters in other games across all genres- and they don't even talk! The narration is what really makes this game shine and it gives every level context. You're not just completing puzzle after puzzle wondering what the point is. You're playing with the rectangles, who don't know what the point is either. It's almost an RPG.
@GamecubeComplex Well I have a 3DS XL and I have Mario Kart 7 and DS. Plus I have DK on my Wii. Mario Kart 8 didn't really grab my attention. I tried the Smash Bros demo and I honestly didn't like it at all. I didn't like the controls or the exaggerated music or that weird black outline that all the characters have. As for those other games you mentioned- Mario Maker looks alright, I HATE HATE HATE Yoshi games, and those others don't interest me. So yeah, I follow all the Nintendo-related news and so I know if all the games, it's just that none of them really seemed innovative or fresh enough that I'd want a Wii U.

Re: McDonald's Happy Meal Boomerang Mario In UK Tabloid Scandal
Some people have nothing better to do than make ridiculous, far reaches to mess things up for everyone else. Pathetic.
Re: Video: So, How Fast Is 200cc In Mario Kart 8?
Okay it is faster, but it's not THAT fast. Calm down everyone.

Please not a Zelda show. Have you guys seen how HORRIBLE the Misadventures of Link on Nintendo Video is????? No chance

@Haru17 Really? I've never played a MH game before. Is it like a time limit per quest or is it over the whole game?
@Link506 Pardon my ignorance, but what is CDI?

I really don't care, I want the black XL. I'm never going back to regular size Nintendo systems and the red version looks pretty feminine to me.
