@AstroTheGamosian If they contract out to an anime company, then all we will hear are the same 4-5 VA’s that anime cartoons have been using for the past 3 decades.
@LikelySatan I'm sure there will be a ton of helpful devs rushing to this very article with financial aid. /sarc If help occurs, I'm sure it happens through the right channels. This gossip isn't our business.
@timp29 The only people who are trolling are the folks who can't possibly imagine that some people might not be into this game, and therefor rate it low out of lack of interest, or any other reason for that matter. Can't just resort to "troll" every time someone dislikes something you happen to like.
I don't get it, there have been better waifus/husbandos in other games. She looks like a somewhat weird attempt at a Zelda version of Velma from Scooby Doo.
@Arawn93 Hey, I kinda notice that you're lashing out at anybody that replies to you. I bless your life, and hope you reach a better place. Hope you're ok. The hostility is certainly not mutual. We're just talking about vidya games, man
@GrailUK I mean, look how much money tobacco companies pull in, with that logic. Just because a company knows how to reel people in doesn't mean they are necessarily offering a good thing!
If the facial animation was pushing some kind of industry limit, like in the DeS remake, or some recent AAA games, then I think an article would be warranted. But, the faces in totk don't look advanced in the slightest.
@Mgalens Pretty much what sums it up for me. Below 30 is atrocious, impacts gameplay, throws off my timing. 60 is great and I prefer it wherever possible, but some older games I play are locked at 30 on their original platforms and it just takes about a 20 minute adjustment before it feels "normal."
@Sam_TSM Tears of the Wild is a $70 game that runs like an $30 PS3 game, at times. Nothing wrong with holding a high-profile game with a high asking price to a higher standard. And there is certainly nothing wrong with the people who are discovering frame rate issues. You are thoroughly incorrect about your assumption you made and your “they need to get a grip” comment.
@ChromaticDracula Funny, MVG is a professional in games development, with various programming language certifications, yet you call him a hackjob. Hope you know what the word “optimization” means in games development, btw.
@Nanami_Ataraxia Mainly I'm referencing stuff like World Tendency and Character Tendency in Demon's Souls, or the fact that which covenant you chose in Dark Souls determined certain abilities. Or factors in fighting games like choosing a grappler vs someone with fireballs. Morality/choice is fine, but I'm talking game mechanics and such.
@Nanami_Ataraxia I mean, it would be nice if the game had some kind of permanent consequences to ones actions. I like when games do that, forces you to think before you act!

Re: Zelda: Cadence Of Hyrule Dev 'Brace Yourself Games' Confirms Layoffs
@Shambo I wouldn’t listen to them, they are misleading you with negative intent.
Re: Zelda: Cadence Of Hyrule Dev 'Brace Yourself Games' Confirms Layoffs
@CammyUnofficial Yes. None of this is our business, and there’s no reason for us to know.
Re: Video: Extended Gameplay Of Warhammer's New Retro FPS Boltgun, Out Next Week
Now THIS has me excited! Let's go!
Re: Eiji Aonuma Has Completed Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom "About 20 Times"
@SwitchForce That's not how it works when you measure individual experience.
Re: Best Zelda Games Of All Time
@RetroGames I enjoy them each equally, very fun games.
Re: Feature: Nintendo's Satellaview Blazed A Trail For Today's Season-Based, Ephemeral Games
Thank god, a non-tears of the wild article
Re: Pokémon GO Game Director Responds To 'Hear Us Niantic' Social Media Backlash
@Cashews Stop, please.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 20th)
I’ve been cracking out the PS3 for some Demon’s Souls, lately. Gave the SF6 beta a go but it wasn’t really for me.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1's DLC Roster Might Have Already Been Leaked
@Vyacheslav333 That’s probably why nothing was reported.
Re: Struggling To Build Cool Stuff In Zelda: TOTK? This Fan-Made Site Can Help
@Not_Soos While the clip is funny, it highlights how for me, how annoying the overall sound direction of the game is.
Re: Pokémon GO Game Director Responds To 'Hear Us Niantic' Social Media Backlash
@Cashews Sir or ma’am, you forgot your tinfoil hat to go along with your doom & gloom copy/pasta.

Re: Zelda's Tears Of The Kingdom VA Took Inspiration From The Hit HBO Show "Game Of Thrones"
That explains why the VA came across as so grating and annoying. I muted volume during the intro garbage.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1's DLC Roster Might Have Already Been Leaked
@Vyacheslav333 Did Arc do anything special on the Switch for their 35th?
Re: Zelda: Cadence Of Hyrule Dev 'Brace Yourself Games' Confirms Layoffs
@Il_Nintenditore Keep telling yourself that.

Re: Zelda: Cadence Of Hyrule Dev 'Brace Yourself Games' Confirms Layoffs
I would hate to have my life under such a microscope. Why report on people's livelihood getting potentially altered?
Re: Mortal Kombat 1's DLC Roster Might Have Already Been Leaked
The only character I recognize in that list is Ermac!
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?
@Rottytops I suggest clicking the "scoring policy" link at the bottom of the webpage, so you can see this site's metric for their review system.

Re: Random: The Internet Is Still Obsessed With Purah's Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Look
I don't get it, there have been better waifus/husbandos in other games. She looks like a somewhat weird attempt at a Zelda version of Velma from Scooby Doo.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?
@Wiiiiiiiiiii Why does that bother you, though?

Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Has Surpassed 10 Million Sales In Three Days
@FawfulsFury If you’re talking about Tears of the Wild, yes. I played enough of it to learn I would rather be playing something diff!
Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Confirmed For Switch, Launching September
@Savage_Joe It's not a feat to degrade graphical settings to the point it can run on the Switch.
Re: Yes, Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Also Has Duplication Glitches
I love stuff like this. It's so specific it makes you wonder how one stumbles upon such things.

@Arawn93 Yes, please take me literally on every joke-post I put lol
Re: Feature: The Best Builds We've Seen In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom So Far
More mecha, please <3
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Has Surpassed 10 Million Sales In Three Days
@Arawn93 Just curious then I'll leave you to your thoughts, do you believe that 100% of the gaming population would enjoy Tears of the Wild?
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Has Surpassed 10 Million Sales In Three Days
@Arawn93 I'm not getting baited into this with you, you have a nice day.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Has Surpassed 10 Million Sales In Three Days
@Arawn93 That's right, you can say that for any game, but I'm talking about Tears because that's the article we are on.
Re: Video: Overclocked Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Smooths Out Performance On Switch
@BTB20 Not exactly. I think they pulled A LOT of stuff from Wild and re-used it in Tears.
@Astral-Grain Breath of the Kingdom is a great one, I'm laughing hard right now from that
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Has Surpassed 10 Million Sales In Three Days
@GrailUK Right, and I'm not saying that Tears is a bad game, just not one that everyone will enjoy

Re: Random: Oops! Nintendo's Doug Bowser Makes Amusing Zelda Typo On Twitter
Welp, now we know this guy doesn't play the games he sells.
Re: Video: Overclocked Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Smooths Out Performance On Switch
@BTB20 I hope you know why I call it Tears of the Wild
Re: Soapbox: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Incredible Opening Is One Of Nintendo's Best
It was just Sekiro's opening, essentially.
Re: The Master Ball Is Coming To Pokémon GO Next Week
The purple part, when turned upside down, just looks like purple underwear.

Re: Video: Overclocked Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Smooths Out Performance On Switch
@ChromaticDracula True, and even the "hackjob" that you called out who is probably smarter than most of us here said that exact thing.
Re: Video: Overclocked Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Smooths Out Performance On Switch
@Rika_Yoshitake I'm new here, but you seem like the resident troll, noted! lol

Re: Round Up: People Can't Stop Torturing Koroks In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
@Nanami_Ataraxia Yeah, that was basically Link's Awakening, I don't know if any other Zelda game has really done stuff like that.

@Nanami_Ataraxia They respawn, unfortunately.
