@Balto i found it rather hard to enjoy (sometimes frustrating controls, and bad AI ) there were parts i liked, such as being able to jump really high, and its fun to pick up turrets and use them as portable weapons. looking back, its more of a mixed bag, but i'm still not a big fan of this game.

Still, its a shame that (as of this writing) that this is the only Far Cry game on a Nintendo platform

it would be pretty cool to see this come out on the switch, seeing as it would be the first COD title on a nintendo platform in almost a decade. would certainly be fun to play MWR on something thats actually portable (other then a laptop)

and this seems like one of the easier modern COD games to port to the switch (might be wrong though)

that said though, i'll reserve my excitement until this gets officially announced (if it ever does)

@SportyMarioSonicMix yeah, i played the game a few days ago. i did manage to score a few points over the CPU, and even won out over them a few times, but id still say the CPU is rather challenging

@SportyMarioSonicMix near as i can tell, it seems to be 3
matches in a set, with sides changing several times (as well as the server of the ball alternating between the player and the CPU). as far as i know theres no way to change that amount

there are no special features for downloading this on the 3DS and the NES tennis game on Wii U.

there are no special shots in this game as far as i am aware, just typical tennis swings

the multiplayer in this game doesn't work at all (trying to select the 2 player option on the title screen does nothing except make a noise). it has no wireless play either

i find the game to be challenging in spots, mainly because its easy to get Faults or hit the net or hit the ball out of bounds, and i feel that the player character doesn't quite move fast enough at times, but I've played harder games then this

the price for this is $2.99, or 2.70 euros, it takes up 32 blocks.

overall id probably give it a 4.5 out of 10. i can see how someone would have fun with it, but id rather play Golf for the Game Boy

Yeah, i'd like to see Call of Duty on the Nintendo Switch, though i don't think it would be able to handle something like Modern Warfare 2019 (not to the same extent that the PS4/Xbox One could), but i could see it handling something like modern warfare remastered or COD mobile or something like that

i'm not sure if i would play a game like this, but i'm still glad to see the Wii U get another new game after all this time

(also i just realized the Wii U has been discontinued for almost 5 years as of the time i'm typing this...wow)

@Magrane that is correct, there isn't a review of Captain U (yet?)

@Ryu_Niiyama go for it. its only $2.99, so its pretty cheap. It also helps that Captain U is a decent game too (in my opinion anyway)

Now that I've had a chance to play Captain U for a bit, i think it's a good game overall, though i do think some of the touchscreen functions could be a bit more reliable (though maybe my almost 10 year old gamepad might not be calibrated properly)

overall, for $2.99, you can't really go wrong with this game IMO

Captain U seems quite interesting, mainly because it's a Wii U game released in 2021, definitely gonna give that a try

i find it odd that this version of assassins creed odyssey (a cloud version, but still) only got released in japan and NOWHERE else, even though the other versions did get world wide releases. Why?

@Orpheus79V yeah, i could totally see some of the older Far Cry games be ported over to switch, same with Splinter Cell and Rayman now that i think about it (and the original Assassin's Creed and possibly Watch_Dogs 1 for that matter), yet they do not do that, which i find quite strange

It's a shame that THIS is the only Far Cry game (as of 2021) that is on a Nintendo platform, as it is a very bad game, and (in my opinion) the WORST far cry game i have played

i find it amusing how the last 5 screenshots in this gallery are taken from the Xbox 360/PS3 versions of the game (because of better graphical quality)

that said, this is probably my least favorite version of COD 3 (which already was one of my least favorite CODs) due to the frustrating motion controls (who thought it was a good idea to make the already awful quick time events worse with motion controls!?), you are much better off playing the Xbox 360 version of the game

i do not care much for assassin's creed, but if this does turn out to be real, it might be cool for people who like these games

now if they were to put some Far Cry games on the switch, then i might be interested (seriously why have there been no far cry games on the switch yet?)

not being able to turn the EXP share off is something i am neutral towards, but making TM's single use again is a bad idea, i like TMs being infinite use like how they were in every game from pokemon black/white up to sun/moon (haven't really played sword/shield)

good to here that a new timesplitters game is in the works

i wonder if we will get HD remasters of the first 3 games too? (probably not, but it would be cool)

looks like it could be fun, if rather short. wonder if this will be switch exclusive, or will it come to other platforms?

@Eel or paying that much for it, and it doesn't come with duck hunt and world class track meet!

glad to see that this is finally going to be a thing. not a huge fan of the art style this has (such as how the human characters lookfor example). i think let's go pikachu/eevee has a better art style in at least this department. guess i'll have to see what it looks like when it actually drops though

It's a shame that this game was delisted, because it looked like a deliciously terrible unity asset flip from the screenshots i have seen of it. I wonder how well (or poorly) it played...

i wonder...is that "Luigi Bros." NES game that was unlockable on the Wii U version present in this version too? or has that been replaced by the new stuff in this version?

glad to see some new Wii U games, as i do not have a switch, still somewhat surprised to see a Christmas game released in january

zelda 4 swords anniversary edition was one of my favorite DSiWare games, alongside arcade bowling, undead storm, the cake ninja games, birds and beans, metal storm, brain age (all of them) Dr.Mario, bejeweled, and many others

i assume that the channel editor is for games with custom install channels, like mario kart wii and its mario kart channel, or wii fit and its wii fit channel

that said, if people can hack the NES classic edition, then people can definitely hack the Wii Mini
