I'm hoping Nintendo will throw in a single player campaign with Super Mario Maker, as I can't really imagine it being released with just a batch of demo stages.
This was one of my favourites on the GameCube, but I don't think I'd want to play through it again on the 3DS really. I'd happily welcome a new entry in the series though.
Curve Digital games don't always come across very well in trailers, in my experience. So I'll definitely be checking this one out even though I'm not blown away.
I didn't have too much of a problem with the surveys, they could easily be done in less than a minute if you already knew your most basic answers off by heart. Yeah, the rewards were never that great but it was nice to own a few of the special items they had on there, like the Classic SNES controller. In fact I've been hoping they'd re-add it to the catalogue but I doubt it'll happen now.
I think Robin and Lucina are going to end up having the hit and miss face problem like Marth had. Hopefully there'll be a larger amount produced due to their usage in S.T.E.A.M, although I'm not holding my breath. I wonder if the new Fire Emblem game will make use of them?
Scalpers won't see a penny from me. If I hadn't managed to purchase my Majora's Mask New 3DS earlier I'd of just gone without, albeit reluctantly.
I could of made a nice profit on a couple of Marth amiibos I had going spare (I'm fussy about paint jobs) but I just sent them back for a £10 refund each. I was sad to see so many people snapping up overpriced amiibo just before Xmas, a bit of savvy shopping could've saved them a lot of money.
I can't see Nintendo releasing two of their biggest 3DS titles of 2015 on the same day to be honest. Majora's Mask was set for Spring, so I can't imagine they'd actually bring the date that far forward. I'm guessing their use in the poster is merely related to them having unique features on the New 3DS.
I picked up Zelda on Friday and the rest are on preorder bar Luigi. I figured there was no rush picking him up, as I can't see him being discontinued any time soon.
@KeeperBvK Well if Amazon and the official Nintendo store are both out of pre-orders it doesn't bode very well does it? Especially if you consider the GameCube Controller Adapter fiasco, i.e. some of those with pre-orders still haven't received theirs.
If your in Bristol don't bother checking Game for any second wave amiibos. Broadmead has Mario, Samus and Fox, Galleries just has Mario behind the counter. If you like Skylanders or Disney Infinity though they seem to be taking up more shelf space than actual games.
I got my Marth through the post today (thanks Tesco) and although his face is fine, there are a few tiny scuffs to the paint job on his belt and shoulder. I'll keep hold of it for now until I track down another one, but in future I'll probably order two amiibos at a time and return the lesser quality one.
If they made one I'd buy it. Do I think it'd do well? Probably not as they'd most likely have to form a partnership, something we all know isn't one of Nintendo's strongest points.

Re: Review: Devil's Third (Wii U)
@erv There's no multiplayer crossover between the PC and Wii U.
Re: Hands On: Devil's Third - Sampling Online Chaos and Fearing the Devilry of Microtransactions
@Mogster Sadly no local multiplayer or online co-op modes.
Re: Hands On: Devil's Third - Sampling Online Chaos and Fearing the Devilry of Microtransactions
@kensredemption @BrizzoUK It's not cross platform unfortunately, Itagaki confirmed this in a FB Q&A...
Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55
@Bowser908 I believe Miyamoto is now the acting president of Nintendo, but I'm sure a permanent replacement will be found in good time.
Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55
Absolutely gutted. A true legend who did his absolute best for Nintendo right up until the very end.
Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
@Aromaiden I concur, I certainly wouldn't put up with that. All he did was release some info, which was true to the best of his knowledge at the time.
Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
Liam (of Unseen64) seems to of left social media for the time being due to death threats. The internet is a silly place sometimes.
Re: Hands On: Blast Ball Brings Crude Button Mashing and is a Poor Advert for Metroid Prime: Federation Force
@Jazzer94 Hear, hear!
Re: Reggie Explains Why Donkey Kong And Bowser Were Chosen For Skylanders SuperChargers
Link's the worst amiibo hands down.
Re: Editorial: Cheer Up, There Are Some Exciting Games on the Way
It does seem at this point that Zelda Wii U will be the Skyward Sword of the Wii U, i.e. the final blow-out for the system.

Re: Yup, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Is Definitely Skipping Wii U
@outburst It looks incredible! Hopefully there'll be enough players online so that we get to experience those bizarre multiplayer modes.
Re: Despite the Rumours, Nintendo NX Will Not be Android Based
What a surprise...
Re: Review: Splatoon (Wii U)
I'm having a blast with single player mode, I'm sure it'll be extended through DLC down the line.
Re: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Launching With amiibo Cards And NFC Reader This Autumn
The numbered cards don't necessarily mean they'll be blind packed. All of the Smash Bros. amiibo in Europe are numbered too.
Re: Talking Point: That Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door 3DS Rumour Looks Fake, But Do You Want it to be True?
This was one of my favourites on the GameCube, but I don't think I'd want to play through it again on the 3DS really. I'd happily welcome a new entry in the series though.
Re: Remake Request: Super Metroid 3D on Nintendo 3DS
I agree that we need a portable Metroid but a remake of the SNES wouldn't be worthwhile.
Re: Curve Digital is Bringing the Eye-Catching Four Sided Fantasy to Wii U in 2016
Curve Digital games don't always come across very well in trailers, in my experience. So I'll definitely be checking this one out even though I'm not blown away.

Re: Look On In Despair At The Hardest Super Mario World Level Ever Made
That is ridiculous.
Re: Iwata Asks Returns For The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
"I see. I think I learned another reason why developing this game took such a long time! (laughs)" - passive aggressive Iwata.
Re: UK Supermarket Giants Wage Wii U Price Wars to Clear Shelves
My local 'big' Tesco gave up on Nintendo a while back, now they only stock Sony, Microsoft, Skylanders and Disney Infinity products.

Re: Video: See How The New Nintendo 3DS Compares To The Rest Of The 3DS Family
The cover plates made me go for the XL, I can't start collecting them as well as amiibos.

I'm liking that tagline.
Re: Nintendo Europe Shipping Ambassador Edition New Nintendo 3DS to Select Club Nintendo Members Right Now
Pah! I've not received the email, which is probably a good thing as I've had my sights on the new XL, so I'd be pretty torn right now.
Re: Donkey Kong Grabs a Place in List of Highest-Grossing Arcade Machines
I remember that Mortal Kombat artwork from the glory days. Totally forgot that Noel Fielding was Raiden though...
Re: Nintendo UK Store Offering Free Calendar With Orders Over £30
I was all over this until I saw that preorders were excluded from the offer.
Re: Feature: 12 Days of Nintendo Christmas - Day Nine
I'd personally go Luigi over Mario, it flows a tiny bit better.
Re: UK Retailer GAME Is Selling Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker This Side Of Christmas
Placed my order with Game just now, albeit reluctantly. Gotta have me some Captain Toad in time for Xmas though.

Re: Demand For amiibo Continues As Pre-Orders For Forthcoming Waves Sell Out
@BLPs Wave four in Europe.
Re: Demand For amiibo Continues As Pre-Orders For Forthcoming Waves Sell Out
Little Mac seems to be sold out everywhere in the UK, I guess people are getting savvy about snapping up the least popular characters.

Re: Koji Kondo Outlines the Importance of Music in Mario Maker
@Lizuka Koji Kondo was only responsible for composition in the first New Super Mario Bros. game, in all the later ones he's acted as sound supervisor.

Re: Koji Kondo Outlines the Importance of Music in Mario Maker
I for one am pleased about this, new Koji Kondo music is way better than a having a music editor.
Re: Rumour: Villager, Marth & Wii Fit Trainer amiibo Discontinued
I see there's a few 'sets' that have been listed on eBay this evening, containing the three amiibos mentioned in this article...
