I loved the atmosphere of this game back on PC. I might be interested. But we really need some immersive sim on Switch (System Shock, Thief, Deus Ex etc…).
@Ooyah Lands of Lore has so much polishment. Production values were really high back then and so the game aged best of all. My PC top 3 dungeon crawlers are:
1. Lands of Lore
2. Dungeon Master
3. Eye of the Beholder 2
I saw it in the magazine, never played it, but it became essential setting of our school-time ttrpgs that '…you are angry cook starting with frying pan as a weapon'.
Already playing this with kids to read and translate for them and it’s just adorable! I love that style of maps. Sigur Rôs makes perfect fit. I don’t mind the performance issues much but it would be nice if future patches improve that.
Ahh, so many games to pick up. Pentiment, Snufkin, Balatro, Unicorn. I will keep Dark Forces and Battlefront for when its on sale as they seems too much brand-taxed.
Nooooooo, I must resist! To don't buy this, is like a avoiding getting hot-dog in IKEA after your paid for a mountain of nonsenses that you have collected in that furniture'n'stuff dungeon.
Help I need to stop buying more games for Switch! This one is irresistible gem I need and I won’t buy anything else for at least a month (how many times you said that to yourself?). Switch catalogue is simply amazing. 🥲
To those who say (I did as well), that Ubisoft games get cheap fast and you are waiting for a discount — maybe it's good time to say to Ubisoft what games do you value, by pruchasing for the full price. To me this looks almost like a no bull**** game, well polished, demo available, reasonable length with no generic content. After playing demo on all difficulty levels, I changed my mind and I am going to buy day-one.
Expected. I am sorry for the people affected. Imagine how many devs decided to leave Unity or not choosing it fot their next game after the pricing debacle. They know in Unity that trend won't be positive for this year. Anyone reasonable in the finances of the company will announce it and asks for expanses reduction. Yes there could be a better way, but this is typical business as usual.
I risked and bought it for Switch day one. I knew I am going to miss analogue triggers, high fps and finer visuals from owned PC version, that I never finished. I realized I am more successful finishing games on Switch. Outer Wilds are such a fit for it. I can confirm it’s absolutely playable even when fps drops and you need precise controls in disoriented moments. Knowing how demanding the game can be I find it miracle that we have this solid port. There is something magical to lay in the bed with this lightweight console, put on your headphones and dive into this little and beautifully crafted world.
Cool! So I will continue playing Session on PC for some hardcore skateboarding experience. And picking this up on my Switch to have some more relaxed skateboarding fun on the go.
Ahh Nexon — the company is sort EA of the South Korea.
Currently suing Ironmace, indie devs working on Dark and Darker (amazing PvPvE fantasy extraction rpg) that Nexon canceled, while devs formerly worked under them.
I am biased here. I don't want to play anything coming from anyone under this group. I am glad that the topic of unfair backgrounds in the Indie tier of TGA is being discussed.
Well, I loved the first one, but my story ended just a moment before finale. With simple folks killing me in rage for running out of resources. There was no way to roll back enough and fix my steps. Suddenly I was left with feeling of wasted many hours, because the game didn’t let me finish the story that mattered most. Neither I felt like start again from the beginning (and potentially risking the same scenario). I am still a bit angry for that. Let’s see if I will give the new story a chance. But it’s fair to say that I was addicted to the story for several evenings.
