Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom: How To Infiltrate Yiga Clan HQ & Get The Earthquake Ability

Gumdrop

For the amount of effort it takes to get Earthwake it's not great. You can only aim it in one direction, can't change the path and it doesn't do all that much damage. Too much of a trade-off for having to unequip your sword. It would have been much better if it were upgradable to increase the area.
One of the most pointless key items I missioned for.

On a sidenote. I'm not usually the type to be pedantic but it's Earthwake, not Earthquake. It's literally in the first 2 images under "How To Use Earthquake".

Re: Poll: Are You Still Playing Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?

Gumdrop

Nearly 200 hours in and I've barely closed the game since it launched. So far I've done parts of the main story and a whole lot of side quests. I've missioned for the best armor and weapons. Full stamina, 200% battery, 21 hearts. Got all the Sage Will's. Got all the lightroots (mainly because I hated navigating the depths without them). Now I'm working on the last shrines (easier because I have all the lightroots) and about 300 koroks to go to max inventory.

Once I'm done with all that I'll probably do more side quests and then maybe I'll finish the main story.

That looks brilliant. I'm happy they went back to the roots. Feels like a modern version of PoP1 and 2. So many happy hours playing them. I'm so happy to see the traps.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For LEGO 2K Drive

Nope. Can't do it. Won't do it.
It doesn't matter how good the reviews are. I refuse to pay that much for a game and still have microtransactions. And I refuse to support the mechanic. Microtransactions on full priced games should be banned.

You don't have to disable wifi, you can disable auto updates in Switch settings.
Select System Settings from the Home screen on your Switch. Scroll down and select System at the bottom of the System Settings menu list. Scroll down and select Auto-Update Software.

I sold the only diamond I had before I found out about the glitch. Now I'm searching for a new one to abuse.

Re: Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - An Absolute Marvel, But Is It Better Than BOTW?

Gumdrop

Yes. Yes it is. From the start you can feel the story is richer and deeper. I haven't even dropped to Hyrule yet but the Sky Islands already add a sense of depth I didn't appreciate until I started playing.
And I can't explain the joy I felt the first time I used Ultrahand to build that first "vehicle". There's just something magical about it.

So yea, it feels like BoTW but everything is better. I'm can't wait to see what's next.
