@30 and 31: Braben didn't actually have much input into these games, I think. They were invented and directed by some other guy in the company. Brabel is a legend, though, I agree.
@3. They stole the word 'experience' from Hendrix? Lol! I think people have been using the word to describe entertainment products for quite a long time...
He's right. If you don't already know what you're looking for and know when it comes out, there's every chance you'll miss it. I've never bought anything by chance after just 'browsing' as the shopping experience just doesn't lend itself to that.
One step closer to the most important thing: EU release...I hope... Come on Tyrone stop teasing, give us a date to look forward to know...you know you want to...
Nintendo thrift - ie. stinginess - when it comes to their tech is amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if they bought up a load of old PS3s in a few years' time and cracked them open for the chips - lol.
If this was released in the UK, then PETA (the astonishingly stupid animal rights nazis) would be all over it for trivializing the plight of real lost animals, etc.
To hell with Mark Rein. I'll never buy a product from Epic for as long as he remains in charge, and I'd advise others to do likewise. I'm still waiting for him to fix my Gears of War on PC, which was balked globally by DRM policy nearly two years ago. His attitude to the customer is well documented as one of total contempt.
u CAN patch wii games. sports resort in EU had a major bug that nintendo patched via a whole firmware update for every (internet connected) console regardless of whether or not u had the game. ridiculous but it worked, time for nintendo to join the 21st century on this kind of matter.
Curses, I've squandered all my stars on points cards and the usual catalogue tat! (Looking back at account see I've only accrued 14,005 stars since registering back in GBA days, despite buying loads of Nintendo stuff. Man, they're stingy with their stars!)
500 points! Bargain! By the way, any of you guys seen my WarioWare comic, 'BitTripDream'? If not, you should! My small homage to the genius of Gaijin Games.
Unlike the lucky guys above, I am much, much too old. By the time the NES came out I was a stinking, spotty, petulant teenager into girls and guitars, and videogames were off the radar completely. I remain stinking, spotty and petulant, but I'm glad to say I'm back into games too.
I'm way out of touch, I think. But a DJ is still someone who plays records of other people's music, right? Why do they get famous for playing records of other people's music?
I've got a points card waiting here, been sitting lonely and unopened for months. At this rate I'll never scratch away the foil-of-joy, but at least it may be worth something as an antique.
The decision on whether or not to put stuff on shop shelves lies with the retailers, and the retailers are pressurized - and also paid - by the big publishers to give most shelf space to the big name franchises. It's a vicious circle and it's depressing, to be sure, but it's not the fault of enterprising small publishers like Rising Star.
Anyway, I managed to purchase the games you mention through a clever invention called the internet.
Given the frequent shifts in historical age, Link's age, geography and so on, I imagine the 'timeline' to be as convoluted and nonsensical as the very worst Hideo Kojima plotline. Fortunately I don't care. Rescue the princess and defeat evil is always good enough for me.

Retail? Not a chance.
Re: Former Pussycat Doll Brings Glamour to GoldenEye Soundtrack
She does a good Tina Turner impression, fair play! I think she should do it all the time rather than singing in her normal voice.

Cave Story will be Europe's Xmas present, I bet. Only to years late from original release date.

Ah well, there's always Star Parodier...

My decrepit eyesight is too far gone to worry about this, anyway.
Re: New Trademarks Suggest Potential Names for 3DS Tag Mode
I hope they resist the temptation of pre-fixing every DS game with '3D' as it sounds like something that'll start sounding old-fashioned very quickly.
Not fond of CrossPass. CrossPath or CrossPaths would make more sense, I think. Now how do I go about trademarking it...?
