@Yoshi3 well, there’s a lot that’s worse than nothing. When the name Banjo Kazooie fails to sell games because some developer made a crappy game… there’s even less chance we will ever get to see a good Banjo game.
Microsoft should just give the project to Playtonic and hand them a nice budget.
I wanted to get my Switch 2 from Japan, but Some articles online State that the Japanse version of the Switch 2 is locked down to Japanse region and language settings.
Does anyone know if Nintendo Life reported on this?
This has been the case ever since the iPhone XR, people kept crying about it not being an Oled display...
Some tech YouTubers had random people choose the display they liked best, without knowing what phone it was. Most people preferred the high quality LCD of the iPhone XR compared to most 'cheaper' Oled screens that were on the market back then.
Also, Oled is nice for inside use, but outside Oled lacks brightness.
@Anti-Matter Maybe in 1990, but MagSafe and Qi2 has us having rings of magnets in our smartphones. They are harmless towards most electronics in this day and age.
@SillyG I honestly don’t think these games are worth it if you’re not extremely into Yu-Gi-Oh or want to get some of that nostalgia from playing these games back in the day.
Almost none of these games play alike, as back when most of these games were developed the tcg hadn’t any of its rules set in stone.
The games are enjoyable if you spend some time learning how to play them… but honestly, the AI/CPU in these games are so bad it’s laughable.
@Anti-Matter why does it matter how it looks? It’s the only controller where you can literally feel what buttons you’re pressing. It’s still my most preferred controller, as long as I won’t need to use the D-pad.
@Troubbble Seeing the parallels between Avatar the last airbender and Breath of the Wild… I could totally see them making a thrillogy that feels similar to that series.
A single film for a series like this will be a waste imo.
The sales of the Switch are impressive. However, Nintendo used to sell a handheld and a console side by side before the Switch released. In the end it means their Wii/DS era was way, way more successful. Combining the sales of Wii and DS will dwarf the sales of the Switch.
@GoshJosh Depends on the way it was all handled. But we will see soon enough, many in this industry are scared for AI. Learning that the thing you do can be replaced so easily can surely have some effects on your mental health.
I wonder how Charles is doing, after being forced out of the role.
@Donutman Totally agree. The game in itself is amazing, yet not that special 6 years after BotW. The sky and depths are so empty... I honestly expected us to travel back in time or something considering how much development time this game had.
The game also feels a bit like Animal Crossing to me, which also doesn't click with me personally. There's just so much to collect but the rewards aren't worth it in my opinion.
We never got any more info on the situation, so most people assumed it had something to do with him not voicing Mario.
Even some of Tara’s tweets where angry towards (supposedly) Nintendo for treating someone who spend decades of his life for a company this bad. Ofcourse not with so many words.
I now believe that stuff was about Charles being informed he would no longer voice Mario. Ofcourse it’s all speculation, but the timeline makes sense in my opinion.

Re: You Can Finally Repair Weapons In Zelda: BOTW And TOTK On Switch 2 (Sort Of)
@timp29 honestly blocked his channel because of the stupid way he talks, adding all sorts of unnecassary words trying to make it sound interesting.
Re: You Can Finally Repair Weapons In Zelda: BOTW And TOTK On Switch 2 (Sort Of)
People think they want in-game repairable weapons, yet Nintendo 100% has tested such an ability and deemed it bad for the gameplay loop.
The app is a good enough solution instead of making it part of the in game world.

Any idea on what Nintendo did with the Tingle Tuner on the Switch 2 GCN version?

So sad the GameCube stick isn’t in these. Those aftermarket sticks are just bad.

Let's hope Zelda Williams is in this in some form.
