It was only a few short days ago that we learned about ARMS Version 5.0 and, sticking to the promise of releasing the new content this year, Nintendo has announced that the update will begin rolling out tomorrow.
Past updates have provided very welcome improvements to the game's mechanics, as well as new modes and characters to keep things fresh. This time around is no different as a brand new character will be available for you to try out over the holidays.
With yet another chunk of content being thrown into the game tomorrow, will you be exploring everything that the new character has to offer? Let us know in the comments below.

The continued support is really nice. How's everyone enjoying this game now? Burned out?
@Kalmaro No, I enjoy it better than ever. Bought it at launch and have 75 hours. It's my favorite game on the Switch and the one I played the longest.
He to must face the wrath of Springman! This game is absolutely fantastic. I have nearly 300 hours in this game.
Do not play this game that much (I have other games, that are better enjoyed alone), but when friends visit for a party, that's one of our favourites. Even people, who are not well-versed in fighting games can take part, it's quick, easy and when played in 4 people mode, quite chaotic, so even those, that know what they are doing can be easily destroyed.
Great, I’ll definately be trying this out
Who is He / She ?
Good to hear ARMS is getting a lot of updates.
@Kalmaro Still waiting for a demo...
Yay! can't wait to see the new character in action!
Springmom.
I find it kind of exciting that they’re not telling us exactly who she is and they’re just going to drop her into the game tomorrow and let us figure it out.
Gonna have to give it another go.
I admit I haven't played any patches since the one they introduced Max Brass. The game was fun but I burned out on the limited content in June, and can't get myself back into it now.
I'll admit I have been playing a ton of other stuff since this released, but back in June I had a really good time with this game learning the timing, finding a main character, and beating the grand prix on higher difficulties. I really think it is a great game that is brand new to the fighting genre that really deserves more praise. It's just a tough sell at $60 especially for people who don't have any interest in fighting games. I really think Arms would do outstanding as a $40 game. In my humble opinion Arms is a quintessential game for the Switch alongside Zelda BotW, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Snipperclips. I'm very surprised to see how many people regret buying it because I think it is the perfect game to own just because of the local multiplayer capabilities and is a great game to show people what the switch can do other than Zelda/Mario.
Splatoon 2's Squeezer has priority for me but I will get to this later this week.
@Kalmaro It's still a blast and I'm still loving it, but only when friends are around etc. I'm not too motivated to play it on my lonesome, though Badges and unlockables of that nature keep me tempted.
I admit I haven't played ARMS since the update with Lola Pop. It's not that I was burned out or anything like that, Splatoon 2 and Fire Emblem Warriors just pulls my attention away.
Since I have a 5 day weekend, I'll try to make time to play again.
@BensonUii Ah, that's neat. Good to know. I'm particularly happy that we don't know her name, exact abilities or even what her face looks like. I like the idea of someone new just dropping into the game.
@BensonUii Thanks for the link. That's awesome. Veiled reveals like this create a fun sense of excitement and intrigue.
I'm surprised people still play this game. Seems kinda niche
